With the retirement of legendary head coach Bobby Bowden, new Head Coach Jimbo Fisher has promoted Coley to offensive coordinator. James Coley has been with the Florida State Seminoles since 2008 and his previous position was the tight ends and recruiting coordinator.
James Coley has a decade worth of experience, which includes a brief stint as an offensive coordinator at FIU and as an offensive coordinator on Jimbo Fisher’s staff at LSU. When he joined the Florida State Seminoles, Coley was pumped to be apart of a team with Bobby Bowden and considered it an honor. James Coley learned a lot with that experience, which is sure to trickle over into his new coaching team with Fisher and Stoops. Bobby Bowden’s efforts of building a football powerhouse will not be in vain, and the new team will make sure of that.
Coach James Coley said that he “bleeds Garnet and Gold” and is proud to coach for his alma mater. The seasons to come will not be a disappointment to the Florida State Seminoles and their fans. Don’t miss out on a Florida State Seminoles football game!
