Antone Smith enters the 2008 season for his final, senior year with the Florida Seminoles football team. He has a strong record going into the season and will hopefully improve even more this year.

Antone Smith was born on September 17, 1985 and grew up in Pahokee, Florida. During his high school years at Pahokee High, Smith was the top running back recruit in the country.

Antone Smith played in 9 games during his first season in 2005 as a true freshman. He carried the ball 36 times for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.

In 2006, Antone Smith competed in 11 games with a single start. He scored touchdowns in back to back games and was a team leader with 456 rushing yards and 41.5 yards per game plus 5 rushing tackles.

By 2007, Antone Smith started 11 of the 12 games he played in. He was singlehandedly responsible for 43% of the team's rushes over the course of the season and was elected as the team's best conditioned athlete.
